Our teachers are some of the areas finest instructors in classical ballet and dance training.  Most of our teachers have had 15 to 30 years of experience in teaching and offer expert training utilizing the Vaganova and Royal Academy curriculum for ballet. The Ballet Academy specializes in classical dance training which includes Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, and Pas de Deux (partnering), as well as instruction in Modern, Contemporary, and Contemporary Worship. Ballet Academy also offers, Pointe Conditioning, and a  Ballet Conditioning Program . The Ballet Conditioning Program  incorporates exercises utilizing the balance ball and resistance band training to help work the upper and lower leg muscles that are needed for turnout and strengthen the core muscles in the abdomen and back needed for center work.

Second Semester Open Enrollment Monday January 7 -Thursday January 31, 4:00 pm -8:00 pm

Ballet placement  for new students will be done during the first week of class.. Class levels not only depend on age but skill level which is determined by Ballet Academy staff. New students will be placed according to age the first week and if needed, placed in a different  class more appropriate for their abiltiy.
It is recommended that students take two ballet classes per week to progress through the program. They are required to take two ballet technique classes at the minimum to be considered for pointe work. This is due to the difficulty of the technique and strength required for pointe. Students who are taking ballet levels which include pointe work may continue in the class on demi-pointe if they do not desire to dance on pointe or take the minimum required classes.
Beginning pointe work will be based on the approval of the Ballet Academy staff and is not based only on age. Students must be in Ballet III with pre- pointe to be considered for pointe work.
Students who are attending Ballet technique classes outside of the Ballet Academy program must have approval by the director for the class to count as the minimal requirement.
We are currently working to update our teacher information and will have this posted as soon as possible.
